EFFECTIVE DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY ON MANAGEMENT DECISION MAKING (A CASE STUDY OF ACCESS BANK PLC, IKOT EKPENE)
ABSTRACT
The research project was carried out to examine the Effective delegation of authority on management decision making using Access Bank of plc as a case study. The objective is to point out the solution to delegation problems as effect organization decision making in conducting the study, the researcher personally administered twenty (20) questionnaires and used data from primary and secondary sources. The study adopted a survey research design, thirty six (36) sample size were drawn from the population using random sampling techniques. Findings revealed that the delegation of authority is used as a tools for delegating authority effectively success or failure, it was also reveal that the +problem affecting delegation of authority in Access bank is the lack of authority, it was also reveal that management are implemented. It was concluded that effective delegation of authority helps in organizing an organization for success or failure, it was also concluded that the major problems affecting delegation in Access bank plc is lack of knowledge of employees skills. The researcher also provide useful recommendation such as organizations should use delegation authority as tools for delegating authority success or failure, it was also recommended that the CEO’s should great focus and also communicate and align with delegation , it was recommended that delegation should track progress in Access bank of Nigeria plc.
